Effective Educational Leadership (at door-step)

A head teacher could be classified in three components:

• Administration

• Management

• Leadership

Administration

• It is about logistics. It is the management of things rather than people. (Green, 2000).

Management

• It is the capacity to get things done using whatever resources or lack of them that are available to you (Green, 2000).

Leadership

· It consists two major functions: providing direction and exercising influence (Leithwood, 2004).
